Herman's Hermits Indio Concert reviews
He's been better!
I've seen Herman's Hermits when his performance was way better, not quite so tipsy. He didn't seem tuned into or connected with his audience. Maybe if it wasn't so expensive, it would be easier to overlook this.
Neal McCoy was fun between acts. The Band Perry was amazing and should actually be headlining their own shows! Dan + Shay, what we saw of them, was awesome.
Our seats were in the first row of the upper section, in the center. There was way too much activity going on right in front of us. The people sitting behind that didn't want to stand up, dance, and have fun were a pain - just because they wanted to sit on their butt the whole show doesn't mean I should have to. I don't know why people don't get this - if I want to sit and the people in front of me are standing, I have a choice - sit and look at the monitors or stand and see the stage... it's not hard to figure this out, don't expect everyone to bend to your will!
We left a full two hours before the show started, which should have been fine considering it's a 25-30 minute drive on a normal day, but we missed half of the first act because the parking situation was so messed up. And it was messed up on the way out, too - took us probably 2 hours to get home.
Just not a very fun night.
